Barbara Kurdej-Szatan, in a fresh interview with Magda Molek, revisited a controversial post about border guards from two years ago, describing her concerns about the potential reaction of the uniformed services.

Barbara Kurdej-Szatan, the well-known actress, has returned to a case from two years ago, when her comments about border guards caused a storm in the media. Accused of defamation, the actress gave an interview to Magda Mołek. She talked about the fear of the uniformed services she experienced after the publication of this post.

It’s all their narrative all the time, that I have insulted all uniformed people all over the country. Without giving a reason, without showing the cruel video I responded to. It’s been the same narrative all the time, making me out to be “anti-police”. They kept heating it up, which made me really afraid of all uniformed people. Not because I was afraid of them per se, but because I was afraid that all these uniformed people were thinking the way the Law and Justice Party was telling them,” she said on Magda Molek’s show W MY STYLU.

Constitution Square experience

Kurdej-Szatan also shared a personal story about meeting representatives of the uniformed services in the capital.

I was running away with my eyes [from the uniformed services editor’s note]. When we occasionally came into contact, we greeted each other. There was also the time when I was walking along Constitution Square in Warsaw, where policemen were protecting banners with large fetuses and information about the ban on abortion. […] These policemen were standing there, I looked at them and one looked at me with such understanding and a sense of embarrassment, but not in my direction but that he had to stand there and perform it. […],” she added.
