Iwona Pavlović, known on Polish television as the “Black Mamba”, arouses extreme emotions among the participants of the programme “Dancing with the Stars” due to her harsh and uncompromising opinions. At the same time, she is appreciated for her professionalism and attention to every detail, both on the dance floor and in her private life.

What does Pavlović’s flat look like?

Pavlović lives in Olsztyn and her home is a combination of Scandinavian minimalism with modern touches. The interiors are characterised by simplicity and light colours – white, beige and grey, which create a calm atmosphere. Key elements are the large wooden dining table in the dining room and the spacious living room, equipped with a corner sofa and an elegant lamp. Green plants complete the look, as well as a portrait of the juror herself, which is one of the decorations.

Interior expert comments on the design of Pavlović’s home

Jonatan Kilczewski, an interior design expert, was asked by ShowNews for his opinion on Pavlović’s flat. His assessment turned out to be quite critical. Kilczewski noticed a strong loft style inspiration in Iwona’s home, but juxtaposed with glamour elements such as lamps and shiny accessories. He expressed his conviction that the décor of the house is in line with the image of the “Black Mamby”, but at the same time pointed out certain shortcomings: “

Watching Ms Iwona on TV, I totally expected such an interior: seemingly strong with black elements, but also a bit shiny. (…) Her home reflects this brilliantly: strong loft-inspired furniture, juxtaposed with glamour lamps, tulle curtains and thuyas in the garden: a recipe for a common interior, unfortunately for most Poles.

What does the expert advise?

Kilczewski suggests Pavlović get rid of some of the accessories that don’t suit the loft style. He recommends that she focus on a more cohesive design for her upcoming renovation, dispensing with excess decoration. In his opinion, this would give the juror’s home a more modern feel, in line with her taste.
