Jacek Lenartowicz has had setbacks in the running of his business ventures. Despite his acting successes, another of his restaurants proved unprofitable, leading to financial difficulties.

Despite previous business failures, Lenartowicz decided to open a burger shop in Słupsk. Unfortunately, this business did not survive either. The actor compared his involvement in the catering industry to an addiction, saying:

With running a restaurant it’s like alcoholism. A person is addicted to it and it is difficult to cure. I have said more than once that I will never take up catering again and I continue to do it.

At the opening of the burger shop in 2021, Lenartowicz explained that the choice of location in Słupsk was due to his wife’s background. At the time, he was inviting everyone in for burgers inspired by cinema classics. Interestingly, he ran his first catering business in Sydney in the 1990s, specialising in Polish cuisine. He later ran a restaurant in collaboration with the famous chef Michel Morone in Warsaw.
