Joanna Kołaczkowska has cancer – dramatic appeal by Kabaret Hrabi

Well-known and much-loved cabaret actress Joanna Kolaczkowska is going through a difficult phase in her life – she has been diagnosed with cancer. The information was provided by Kabaret Hrabi, who wrote in an official announcement:

Her health now needs all the attention and care. The case is serious. It is cancer.

Due to her illness, the artist had to withdraw from her participation in the ‘Then Songs’ tour. However, the band has not cancelled the shows – special guests are appearing on stage and the proceeds from the tickets go to Joanna’s treatment.

The “Then Songs” tour – how can you help?

The tour started in May and covered cities such as Zabrze, Gdańsk and Warsaw. Despite Kołaczkowska’s absence, prominent artists appeared on stage: Hanna Śleszyńska, Maciej Stuhr, Artur Andrus, Szymon Majewski and Agnieszka Litwin. All proceeds from the tickets go towards medical expenses. The organisers are appealing not to return the tickets, but to support Joanna with your presence.

Many artists and fans have publicly expressed their support for Joanna. Szymon Majewski wrote:

Pray… Help with energy and love. Let her know she is not alone.

Until the end of August, Kabaret Hrabi has suspended its activities so that Kołaczkowska can concentrate fully on her fight for health.
