Joanna Opozda mercilessly about alimony payments: The state can’t cope with the problem

Joanna Opozda has already touched on the subject of raising a child alone many times. Her son is Vincent, whose father is Antoni Królikowski. For a long time Królikowski did not pay alimony, but recently he managed to settle the arrears. Nevertheless, the actress has had negative experiences with alimony, which she emphasised in her interview.

Raising a child alone is hard, especially when the child is ill. I’ve had moments of heartbreak, but single mothers find strength in themselves because they have to be strong for their children,” the actress confessed.

I talk to a lot of single mums and they say how they don’t feel supported. They look after sick children and can’t go to work. I’m lucky because I’m managing and my son is healthy, but other women often abandon their careers for their children and are left without maintenance or a job.

The problem with alimentaires in Poland

Joanna Opozda drew attention to the many problems associated with the collection of alimony payments. According to her, fathers who do not pay alimony often take advantage of legal loopholes to avoid paying.

The state does not help, it does not properly prosecute alimony payers. Men set up fictitious companies, transfer assets to third parties and hide income. This is reprehensible! The state should enforce alimony more effectively and support independent mothers,” said the actress.

Joanna Opozda stresses that in most cases it is men who shirk their alimony obligations, while women are less likely to abandon their children.
