Julia Wieniawa and her exes

Julia didn’t beat around the bush:

I was attracted to boys, the kind of Peter Pan men who need a mum.

She revealed that she subconsciously hoped to ‘fix’ her partners – hoping she had something like a ‘psychologist’s certificate’ in her. Meanwhile, a lack of emotional maturity and self-esteem often led to conflict and ended relationships.

Jealousy and lack of self-confidence

Wieniawa also talked about how difficult a public relationship can be. A potential partner needs to have self-esteem to cope with her life in the limelight, she spoke candidly about this in the podcast. Jealousy and self-doubt had a significant impact on relationship breakdowns, even though the conflicts did not stem from her side.

Therapy and self-discovery – what’s next?

Julia indicated that she understands herself better and better through therapy and reflection:

I am processing this for myself in therapy. I don’t know the answers here yet. I don’t know myself, what I need, what I want.

This realisation is supposed to be a signpost for her for the future.
