Karolina Brzuszczynska and Agnieszka Skrzeczkowska, who took part in the ninth edition of 'Top Model' and are influencers, have had a romantic relationship for a long time. They have been vocal about their plans for the future, which include marriage and children.

In a wide-ranging conversation with Kozaczek, Karolina Brzuszczynska and Agnieszka Skrzeczkowska admit that they still intend to get married, but they plan to do it in Las Vegas:

I hope that next year we will be able to plan the time that this wedding will happen. We also want to coordinate more or less with our family, so that some of them can go, our closer friends, which is not easy, because such a trip is expensive, secondly when you go to the States, it’s for a longer period of time, explains Karolina.

Agnieszka reveals that they dreamt of getting married in Barcelona, but bureaucracy proved to be an obstacle: ‘

We wanted to get married in Barcelona, but there is a lot of bureaucracy there, you have to submit a lot of paperwork and live there. And it’s a pity, because you could also bring your family, it’s much closer,” admits Agnieszka.

Unfortunately, same-sex marriages are illegal in Poland, which means that their marriage will not be recognised as legitimate: “It will simply be a document signed by Elvis Presley that will end up in a drawer,” Karolina stresses. In other European countries, on the other hand, their marriage will be recognised as legal:

Legal is (in other European countries). It’s no different, it’s a civil union. If we moved and lived abroad, yes, but in Poland it has no legal force,” they explain.

Influencers on the limitations of the law

Karolina confesses that she is saddened by the fact that they cannot officially regularise their status, especially in terms of tax and inheritance. Agnieszka bluntly expresses her indignation at the situation:

I’m furious, it’s very restrictive, and even more so if there were children with us. There is only one mother, this is terrible. When something happens to the child, whether to take the child away, it’s a big problem. Especially since most countries in Europe already have these laws in place, there are civil partnerships, and our Poland, as usual, is at the grey end. Once everyone has, maybe we will decide,” says Skrzeczkowska.
