Katarzyna Nosowska and Michal Szpak the new faces of TVN? They will take their place in the jury of the NEW high-profile show

Following the changes in the programme management of Poland’s two largest private television stations, there has been a real revolution in the schedules. Edward Miszczak is trying to revamp tried-and-tested formats at Polsat, which led to high-profile dismissals, for example of Katarzyna Dowbor from “Nasz Nowy Dom” and Katarzyna Skrzynecka from “Twoja Twarz Brzmi Znajomo”. Lidia Kazen, who took the helm at TVN after Miszczak’s departure, seems to be following a similar direction, but behind the scenes it is said that she is focusing more on new formats. One of these is to be Drag Me Out, confirmed by the director himself, which is expected to debut as early as next spring.

At the beginning of the summer, news circulated in the media that a TVN production was working on a Polish version of the popular Norwegian show “Drag me Out”. The format involves celebrities being dressed up as drag queens, but in a way that makes it impossible to recognise who is really who. There were rumours that Andrzej Seweryn, who played the role of drag queen Loretta in the series “Queen” some time ago, would be a member of the jury of the Polish edition. Lidia Kazen confirmed both that we can expect a Polish version of “Drag me Out” and that Andrzej Seweryn would be the chairman of the jury of this programme. Now the Pudelek portal reports that it knows the rest of the jury line-up.

The portal reports that the other jurors are to be artists Michal Szpak and Katarzyna Nosowska. Apparently, the station did not begrudge the money for the salaries, although, according to the portal’s informant, the station’s management is not entirely convinced about the format it is preparing.

Both Kasia and Michal have enthusiastically accepted the proposal, says the portal’s source. They know that this show could be a breakthrough in the history of Polish television.
