Katarzyna Pakosińska reveals her way out of marital conflicts

Pakosińska is known for her sense of humour, but she chose to tie her private life to Georgia, where she met her husband, Irakli Basilashvili, who comes from a Georgian princely family. Their relationship, which initially developed at a distance, eventually developed into a lasting relationship. Today, Pakosińska proudly emphasises that it is Georgia that has become a second home for her, and the country’s culture has had a major impact on her family life.

How does Pakosińska cope with the difficulties in her marriage?

In recent interviews, the actress has spoken about her approach to marital problems, revealing that a sense of humour and distance from everyday situations play a big part in solving them. The key to success, however, according to her, is the traditional Georgian method:

It’s usually the case that one party faces the other […]. It is like this: `if you are more angry, I will come out’. I still have the so-called Georgian way learnt from my mother-in-law – when the husband gets on a high – it is an old rule to leave this bear in the roost for a few hours, days, so that it all settles down, and then he usually doesn’t remember anything and is surrounded by such calmness that later everything is manageable,” Pakosinska said, quoted by the Jastrząb Post portal.

The importance of calmness and patience

Pakosińska explained that she learned this method from her mother-in-law, who emphasised that sometimes it is worth giving your partner space before talking about problems again. Thanks to this principle, the actress says, many tense situations have been resolved harmoniously.
