Laura Breszka has shared the first glimpses of the interior of her Sicilian home

Laura Breszka has shared the news with her followers that she has bought a house in Sicily. The actress has already spent her first few nights at her new property, but has not yet decided to show off the whole house. According to her online posts, the property still needs tidying up and preparing before she can show it off in all its glory.

Although we’ll have to wait a little longer for a full tour of the property, the actress has given us a sneak peek and shown part of the bedroom. The room features a large bed with a wooden headboard. Hanging above it is a painting, which likely depicts angels.

For the time being, the interior retains the furnishings left behind by the previous owners. Breszka is keeping the place tidy and gradually adapting her new home to her needs. Only once the work is complete does she intend to present the results of the move in more detail.

The first few days at her new property brought the actress not only joy but also challenges linked to the island’s weather. It became exceptionally hot inside the building, so it was necessary to find a way to lower the temperature quickly.

A friend came to the rescue, lending Breszka an air-conditioner. The appliance enabled her to cope with the high temperatures whilst furnishing the house and carrying out the necessary tidying up.

However, it was an item left behind in the house by the previous occupants that aroused the greatest interest. On one of the sideboards, the actress found a photograph of Padre Pio. The memento had not been taken when the former owners moved out and thus found its way into the hands of the new owner.

Breszka regarded the find as a special “heirloom” linked to the property’s history. She had no intention of getting rid of the photograph, and in her account she thanked the previous owners for the surprise they had left behind.

A new chapter on an Italian island

For the actress, buying a house in Sicily means having her own place in one of Italy’s most popular regions. The island attracts visitors with its picturesque villages, proximity to the sea and distinctive architecture.

For now, Breszka is focusing primarily on furnishing and organising the property. It’s quite possible that once all the work is complete, she’ll show her followers more of the rooms and tell them more about her new life in Sicily.
