Luna’s surprising declaration ahead of Eurovision: `I want to shock the audience!

In an interview with a Jastrząb Post reporter, Luna does not hide her excitement about the upcoming event. The interview reveals more details about our representative’s performance in Malmö.

A futuristic approach to the performance

On the Eurovision stage, Luna will present the song ´Tower´, which was created especially for this contest. The visuals and the performance itself are intended to take a futuristic and theatrical style to reflect modern Poland.

This costume will consist of two parts, or even three? It will be in the colours of Poland, which is white and red. It will be something modern, a bit theatrical, but still modern. I want there to be an element of futurism here too.

We are working on the staging together with the director Jerry Reeve, and we have been thinking for a long time about how we want to translate the story to the stage. How do we want to take the audience and listeners into another world as fully as possible. How do we create this element of fairy tale and a completely different reality that will be a great mirror to how we feel in our lives, what we are experiencing and what we are struggling with. There will also be a tower on stage, there will be a lot of movement, visualisation. I would like to jump off and for the audience to see this performance and be shocked that this is what is happening.

I spoke to Michal Szpak. He is a wonderful, good soul and he advised me not to listen to everyone around me, but to listen to myself first and foremost. Because I know what I have to do, I know what my mission is, I know what I want to convey. And that I trust myself, believe in myself and listen to what’s in my heart.

Final preparations

The final days before the competition are a time of intensive rehearsals and taking care of my vocal condition, and

it’s a crucial moment to put the final touches on everything. My performance will be a combination of voice, music and intense choreography,” emphasises the Polish representative.
