Maciej Stuhr has given up luxuries on holiday. Rejecting comforts, he chooses nature

Holidays in the sunshine have prompted Poles to plan their holidays. One part decided to stay in the country, enjoying the charms of the local nature, especially as the temperatures are not dissimilar to those we can experience in Spain or Italy. Others, on the other hand, decided to take the opportunity to visit other countries and discover their attractions.

Where is the Stuhr family spending their holidays?

This year, Maciej Stuhr was among those who decided to stay in the country. However, the actor decided to avoid the most touristed places such as the Tricity, Mazury or Zakopane. He chose a rather unobvious and still underrated destination – the Krakow-Częstochowa Upland. Stuhr, together with his wife and children, decided to develop a camp in this picturesque area of southern Poland. Instead of using the hotel’s breakfast buffet, they ate sandwiches and drank coffee prepared on a tourist cooker. Instead of swimming in a pool of emerald water, they chose active relaxation, hiking in the mountains and rock climbing –

everything I had always dreamed of! But it’s a joy,’ the satisfied actor summed up his holiday. ‘What a wonderful and family time we’re having! It’s been a long time since anything has brought us so close, so nice as these days in the rocks. (…) The boys bring me treasures from the mountain as gifts – a leaf, a pebble, a flower petal. (…) Nature, family, sport, friends – the best holidays! (…) I need little or nothing to be happy. Family, peace, nature, sport, smiling people all around. I prefer sleeping in a tent than in a bed at home. Last year I slept until November, until the snow fell and damaged the tent,” concluded Katarzyna Błażejewska-Stuhr, the actor’s wife.
