Unpacking her new acquisition, the influencer admitted that she initially intended to take advantage of the promotion, but ultimately decided to make a full-price purchase. Why,

I thought, do I want my life, my year, to be an overpriced handbag? I know it’s a lot of money. (…) I get it, I don’t really need these handbags. I buy them as such symbols, medals or trophies (…). It’s my motivation to achieve my next goals.

However, Sochacki-Wójcicka’s confessions were met with a harsh reaction even from her most devoted fans. Accusations of lack of tact and indignation over bragging about such an expensive purchase in the context of requests to support the foundation were among the main points of criticism. One Internet user wrote this, under Nicole Sochacki-Wójcicka’s post:

I support the foundation regularly, earning 2,700 PLN. I’m not jealous, but I felt like a retard because I’m contributing to the foundation by walking around with one bag from a chain store for five years.
