After it was announced that Elzbieta Romanowska was joining the cast of ‘Our New Home’, the actress faced a wave of heckling on social media. The show’s architect, among others, expressed her opinion on the subject in an interview with the website Plotek.pl:

For those who are now criticising her, let me say this…. ‘Our New Home’ is not a programme about Ela, the architects or the team, regardless of who is on the line-up. It’s a programme about wonderful families who need our help. If we say that ‘Our New Home’ is a mission statement, to criticise and boycott the programme in protest is missing the point. If there are no viewers, there will be no programme, and if there is no programme, we will not help those in need.

The new hostess is not guilty of any changes. Someone has to run the programme. If no one wanted it, it would mean the end of it, which would be very sad.
