The beginning of Marianna and Łukasz’s relationship

Marianna and Łukasz’s relationship was difficult from the very beginning. When they met, she lived in Warsaw and he in Bydgoszcz. In spite of their love, their relationship faced various challenges, especially related to distance. Marianna was very much in love and wanted to be with him non-stop, while Łukasz was more mature and emotionally balanced.

Marianna admitted many times that she was very much in love.

I wanted to come back to him non-stop, I wanted to live there, quickly, here and now, forever. He, however, already had his Ôexperience baggageÕ and was more mature than me, able to cool his emotions and think rationally, while I did not. What did I know about life. That life for me at the time was love, and his name was Luke.

revealed that Luke was running a bookshop at the time, and there was nothing to suggest that he would soon be involved in politics.

I met an ordinary guy who could be the rock for me that I never had because I didn’t have a dad. I got the title of politician’s wife along the way, although I never wanted it. I also didn’t know anything about politics at all. At the time I didn’t know what it meant to be an MP. I was a shitty girl who came out of a house she had wanted to disappear from for a long time, I wanted to be loved. And I went into it,” she recounted.

Crises in the Schreibers’ relationship

This is not the first time the couple has faced difficulties. The first crisis came after the loss of a child in 2014. Marianne suffered a miscarriage, which was a very painful experience for her. This event brought a lot of pain, and the couple’s relationship began to be plagued by problems.

I had a miscarriage in 2014, then we separated. I fell apart into millions of pieces. The doctor said: “Stop slurring your words, nothing like that happened”. (hospital in Warsaw), but I didn’t have the strength to live. It was my first biggest pain, we were surprised by the pregnancy, but we were happy. However, we could not bear the weight of this madness, this hurt and desires,” she described on the blog.

Finally, at the age of 22, Marianna gave birth to her daughter Patrycja. The Law and Justice politician’s wife was still a student at the time.

The couple’s further fate

Today, Marianna talks about the difficulties that love and life have brought them. Despite the separations and the pain that their difficult experiences have brought them, they have to face reality and search for their path to happiness.
