Mother and daughter: shared moments and Christmas secrets

During the programme, Marianna and Patrycja shared lovely details of Christmas traditions. Patrycja recalled a visit from “Santa Claus” and revealed that she found 10 zlotys under the gingerbread men. Marianna grinned about the night alarm when they allegedly heard noises from the garden, which they attributed to Father Christmas.

I woke Patrycja up at 2 a.m. because we live on the ground floor and I heard some sounds. Santa Claus came and ate all the biscuits,” Marianne reported, to which her daughter eagerly nodded.

Lonely but happy motherhood

The conversation also descended into more serious topics. Marianna was asked whether she sees herself as a single or independent mother.

I think both, but above all I consider myself a brave mother,” she replied.

Schreiber emphasised that since Patrycja’s birth they have spent most of their time alone, as her husband was often absent. Her husband was

away from home a lot, so we practically spent our days alone, and it has stayed that way until now. Now it is more difficult, because there are financial and organisational issues, and Patrycja has a lot of extra activities,” she added.

Pampering each other

Marianna admitted that she tries to give her daughter what she herself did not have as a child.

She is one, so I want her to have everything I lacked. I don’t hide, I spoil her a little bit,” she said with a smile.

Patrycja was quick to interject that her mum is also spoilt, which prompted salvos of laughter in the studio.
