Martyna Wojciechowska, a well-known traveller and journalist, faced serious problems with her flat after flooding destroyed a large part of her property. Water seeped under the floor, causing damage to more than 70% of the area. Despite these difficulties, Wojciechowska approaches the situation with her typical sense of humour, sharing her experiences with her fans.

Difficult moments after flooding

Wojciechowska recounted the difficult aftermath of the flooding, which was the result of leaking insulation on the terrace. Water entered, destroying the floor and walls in most of the flat. Currently, her house resembles a construction site, with numerous pumps, drying machines and cables working non-stop to remove the damp.

Pipes and machines are working day and night. Water has flooded more than 70 per cent of the flat. I am still waiting for the floor to be ripped up and the plaster to be scraped off,” the journalist reported.

Despite the challenges posed by the flooding, Martyna doesn’t lose her humour and distance from the situation. She showed a video on Instagram, where she laughingly depicts the damage to her home, referring to popular internet trends. A long road to repair

Martyna Wojciechowska is now awaiting the next stages of the renovation, which will include not only drying, but also ripping up the floors and repairing the plaster. Although she still has a long way to go to restore the flat to its former state, her optimism and positive attitude inspire many fans.

‘There’s still a long way to go on this journey, but for the time being, it’s just the cats sleeping as if nothing ever happened,’ the journalist concluded with humour.
