Daughter Solene chose psychology, while Andrea opted for a rural life in New Caledonia, far from the world of gastronomy that brought her father fame.

Andrea fulfils her dream on the farm

Michel Moran proudly told the story of his son taking up farming and cattle rearing. Andrea has fulfilled his long-hidden dream of living close to nature. As the restaurateur confessed in an interview, he has always supported his children in their life choices. – “Do what you like and everything will be fine”. – this was the advice he gave his son. Andrea reaffirmed this philosophy, saying in an interview with “Attention! TVN” that the most important thing is to do what you love and financial success and happiness will come on their own.

Joyful moments and the role of grandfather

In July 2023, Michel Moran became a grandfather – Andrea and his partner Marie welcomed their daughter Ela into the world. The restaurateur was happy to share the moment on social media. In pandemonium, he unfortunately felt the distance separating them acutely, but kept in touch, using modern technology to stay in close contact with his family.
