WAWA album – A tribute to Warsaw

Monika Brodka not only sings about Warsaw, but also deeply relives the city’s history. Her new album ´WAWA´ is perfect proof of this. The artist recorded the album on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, which is both a tribute to the heroes of those days and a personal story of her relationship

with Warsaw. ‘I wanted to tell my story with Warsaw and the Uprising in the background, a story from the humanistic side,’ Brodka told Radio One.

The premiere of the album took place

on

26 July in Park Wolności, right next to the Warsaw Uprising Museum.
