Honorata Skarbek’s journey. The trip started with an unpleasant surprise

Honorata Skarbek, known for her activity on social media, shared with her fans an unusual situation that happened to her during her trip. The artist registered her luggage at Warsaw Chopin Airport using the services of PLL LOT. However, when she arrived at her holiday destination, she was in for an unpleasant surprise.

My glasses, valued at over 6,000 zloty, were lost at the airport. After registering my checked-in baggage with LOT airlines at Warsaw Chopin Airport. Of course, I had put the glasses in my suitcase in the morning, packed and still straight from the courier, because I didn’t want them to get damaged in flight, so I didn’t even unpack them. I was carrying them for a gift here, to where I am now. So the glasses were packed, and when I opened the suitcase at my destination, the hotel, everything was unpacked, torn, all the papers separately, the covers, even the invoice, and there were no glasses. It was the first time in my life that such a situation had happened to me – the singer explained in a video posted on TikTok.

Unsuccessful search and ambiguity surrounding the disappearance

Skarbek was not going to passively wait for the case to be solved. She reported that she had contacted a number of institutions that could theoretically help her find her lost.

I have already called Chopin Airport, I have called LOT airlines, I have called the lost property office, the broken, damaged, lost luggage office, the customs office and the police. Absolutely no one wants to help me. Every single entity refers me to the next one and says there is nothing they can do – the embittered singer reported.

The star pointed out that she has been travelling for years and has never had a similar experience before. She is puzzled by the fact that of all the items in her suitcase, only her glasses, which were packed in their original packaging, disappeared.

Hypotheses and unanswered questions

The singer made no secret of her dismay at the circumstances of the disappearance. She wondered whether the glasses had aroused suspicion during the baggage check.

Maybe, if the suitcase went through additional scans, something seemed suspicious to the customs officer and they simply unpacked the package, then forgot to put the glasses for more than 6,000 zlotys back in and they are still lying there on the counter? I haven’t the foggiest idea – she wondered aloud.

The star claims to have also presented this version to the police and the lost property office, but her theory did not receive much attention.

Honorata Skarbek appeals for help

Faced with helplessness, Skarbek decided to appeal to the relevant services and the public, hoping to finally solve the mystery.

Hello, I’m waiting for help. LOT Airlines, Warsaw Chopin Airport, maybe this time I will not be passed over as I was on the phone (…). I would like to find a solution to this situation, because I can’t imagine it will be let go. I want my glasses back and I simply want to explain how such abstract situations can occur. This is how the first day of the trip started. Despite all the cordiality and empathy I have in me, I do not say hello – concluded the bitter artist.

Representatives of LOT Polish Airlines informed that the complaint from the singer has already been registered and the investigation is underway
