Natalia Kaczmarek and Konrad Bukowiecki – a couple whose sporting careers and feelings for each other take precedence

Natalia, who recently won a silver medal at the world championships, is now one of the brightest stars in Polish athletics. Her successes are growing year on year, and her biggest support is undoubtedly her life partner – Konrad Bukowiecki, a shot putter who has more than one sporting success to his credit. Their story began in 2018, when the two sporting talents first really met. The beginnings were tentative. A card game in South Africa became the pretext for a closer connection. It was there that Konrad decided to take a chance and initiate the first conversations with Natalia. The two discovered that they had a lot in common, including a similar sense of humour. From then on, their hearts began to beat in unison. Their relationship was a challenge because of the distance, but their shared passions and sporting competitions allowed them to meet frequently. They now live together in Olsztyn and enjoy every moment they spend together. Natalia is increasingly successful in her sport and Konrad is always by her side, supporting and cheering her on. Do they compete with each other? As they assure us, not at all. The success of one is a joy for the other. The shot putter has quite a soft heart, which can be seen in his every gesture towards Natalia. His jokes and self-criticism add to the couple’s charm. Unlike him, Natalia is sometimes more assertive, but the two complement each other perfectly. Now, after five years of their relationship, the athletes have decided to take the next step and plan their wedding. As Natalia admits, her personal life has had a positive impact on her sporting career. However, the wedding plans have been postponed until the end of the season. They are now both focusing on their sporting goals, and we can’t wait for their wedding! Polish athletics is certainly gearing up for more sporting success for this couple, both in the stadium and in their personal lives.
