Nina Tyrka, is the former partner of Agustin Egurrola with whom she has a daughter Carmen. A former trainer in the renowned TV show Dancing with the Stars, she does not shy away from new challenges and bold steps in her life. At one point, she decided to take a decisive turn in her career and set up a chain of vegetable shops. Unfortunately, the prices of the products offered there may not be affordable for everyone....

Nina Tyrka was once one of the most recognisable dancers in the world of ‘Dancing with the Stars’. News about her circulated not only because of her dance performances with Norbi or Marcin Miller from Boys, but also because of her romance with Agustin Egurrola, which unfortunately ended in 2015. Today, what unites the couple is their daughter Carmen, who is now already a teenager. After Nina Tyrka decided to part ways not only with Agustin Egurrola, but also with the Dancing with the Stars programme, the media stopped talking about her. However, it soon turned out that it was only a temporary break, as the dancer appeared in the media again in 2020. The reason was that, forced by the pandemic to look for new opportunities, she opened a vegetable shop with her brother.

Our family has been selling vegetables for many years. Both our mum and dad have been in the business for years,” said her brother, Piotr Tyrka, on the Dzień dobry TVN programme.

It looks like Nina made a wise decision, as her ‘Zieleniak’ shop in Warsaw’s Wilanów district continues to operate and thrive under the watchful eye of her siblings. The Plejada reporter decided to visit the shop to stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables. What she saw on the spot was a big surprise for her. Nina Tyrka has set up a vegetable shop together with her brother. The prices in the ‘Zieleniak’ can be surprising, and the reporter noted that the products on offer are of very high quality. As she says, “most of the vegetables looked as if they had just arrived from the field or greenhouse”. Unfortunately, as with many other celebrity-run ventures, the prices can be out of reach for many people. The portal reports that you have to pay as much as 40 zloty for a kilo of tomatoes in Nina’s shop, and 13 zloty for cauliflower. But it doesn’t stop there: pears cost 10 zloty per kilogram, apples 6, and kiwis 6.5 per piece. You can also buy yams for 17 zloty a kilo and potatoes for 4.5. The shop also offers other products such as sourdough, Greek-style fish and various preserves.

I paid 13 zloty for cauliflower. Usually this vegetable at the market costs half that amount. I understand rising prices and inflation, but 40 zloty for a kg of tomatoes is really a lot,” she read.

The reporter stressed that the prices of individual products “caused her goosebumps” and she will probably not visit the place again for this reason.
