Sandra Kubicka recently opened a matcha serving establishment in the centre of Warsaw – ‘Sandra’s Matcha’. The celebrity’s next business has not escaped criticism from visitors. One popular tiktoker was particularly vocal in describing his opinion of the drink, sparing no strong words.

TikToker: “the worst matcha”

Dominik Rupinski tasted the matcha from Kubicka and bluntly stated that it was “the worst matcha he had ever come across”. The video, in which he spits out the drink and comments sharply, resonated on social media.

Middle finger from a luxury yacht

Sandra decided to respond in her style – short and blunt. She posted a testimonial on Instagram in which she sails a ‘million-dollar yacht’ on Lake Como and… shows the middle finger to critics. In the caption she wrote:

Apparently the children of tiktok are waiting for me to fire up because someone out there doesn’t like my matcha. Meanwhile me on a million zloty yacht sailing on Lake Como.

A deliberate marketing move

While the gesture and description may shock, Kubicka explains that it was all planned – it was all about unleashing conversation around her business. By her own admission, she wanted to ‘fire up’ her brand and… it worked. The luxury yacht was meant to attract attention and generate publicity.

Sandra Kubica and her thoughts on the Polish mentality

Sandra doesn’t stop at commenting on matcha. In her next Insta Stories, she shared a bitter observation: ‘

In Poland, firstly, people can’t talk about money, and secondly, there’s something about when you have it, you have to pretend you don’t have it… Our people prefer to say: ‘What a thief’ or ‘He’s a prostitute for sure’ than to say: ‘But cool, it motivates me’ or ‘I want that too’. Anyways, congratulations on your predictability.
