Sobel cancels gigs after serious accident – what happened?

In an account posted on social media, Sobel confessed that he had a serious accident in his own home last night. The fall turned out to be so serious that hospitalisation and neurological diagnosis was required. The diagnosis: a broken shoulder and neurological problems that required immediate medical intervention.

As the artist recounts, after spending many hours in hospital, he decided to undergo surgery in a private clinic to speed up the healing process and get back in shape as soon as possible. His decision was met with understanding, but also concern from fans.

Sobel concerts cancelled – list of cities and new dates

The accident forced the immediate cancellation of scheduled concerts. The list of cities where the upcoming performances will not take place includes: Gdańsk, Ostróda, Kielce.

Sobel assures, however, that these are not permanent cancellations, but only temporary postponements of concerts. Fans are asked to be patient and refrain from returning tickets – as the rapper emphasises, the new date will be announced soon, and the organisers will be contacting participants by email.

What about the tour to promote the ‘Write As You Will’ album?

Sobel’s accident coincided with his tour to promote his latest album, Write As You Will, which was to be one of his most important projects in 2025.

Although a health situation has forced a temporary hiatus, the artist has no intention of giving up. In a message to fans, he has made it clear that he is not giving up his concerts, and is keen for all events to take place – even if on new dates.

Sobel’s appeal to fans: “Please be patient and understanding”.

In an emotional social media post, Sobel addressed his fans directly:

“I ask you for patience. I know these are important events for many of you and you have been depending on me to be at the concerts. I will try to return as soon as possible, but right now I have to take care of my health.”

Szymon Sobel, known simply as Sobel, is one of the most recognisable Polish rappers of the younger generation. His output includes such hits as: “Impreza”, “Fiołkowe pole “or “Daj mi znać”.

Each of his albums has achieved huge reach on streaming services and concerts have sold out in droves. The latest album, ‘Write as you will’, was to be the culmination of his final months of artistic work.
