these songs were written over many years. Stan was not initially convinced by the Christmas project, but for me, someone who simply loves music, it was unthinkable that an artist gifted with such a voice and musical culture would not have carols and pastorals in his repertoireIn the end, he accepted the challenge. The songs that followed were gifts that Stan handed to me every time he came to the United States for Christmas. Until now, these Christmas songs were known only to our friends. Now all fans can get to know them.

Stan Boris – does music improve his health?

Despite the hardships of his illness, Stan expressed his joy that his Christmas songs will reach a wide audience. The artist emphasises that these are wishes for a life of love, peace and health. The album is not only a gift for his fans, but also an expression of his respect for Christmas. For, as he himself said: I

am very happy that this music will reach a wide audience. I used to shy away from such repertoire, a bit out of spite and not wanting to do what other artists do. But my Anna’s requests, Ryszard Szwec’s musical imagination, and eventually Anna Bernat’s poetry, gave me no choice: I followed my heart […]. I hope that this collection of carols and pastorals will also make the listeners happy. These are my wishes for a life of love, peace and health, away from trepidation, in reverence for Christmas.

A happy trip to Poland and new treatment

Although Stan Borys’ health is not ideal, his trip to Poland was an important step in his rehabilitation process. Anna Maleady, his wife, had previously shared that the artist was undergoing treatment after a stroke, but was striving to improve.
