In response to the growing wave of criticism, Polsat spokesman Tomasz Matwiejczuk explained the station’s position:

If journalists want to write about Dagmara Kaźmierska, they can do so and no one is forbidding them. We no longer have programmes about Dagmara Kazmierska on our airwaves, and if other media want to continue to promote her, it is, of course, their decision,’ he said in an interview with the Wirtualne Media portal.

The director of ‘Dancing with the Stars’, Wojciech Iwański has decided to break his silence. In an interview with Fakt, he stated that he does not regret Dagmara Kazimierska’s participation in the programme.

I don’t regret it, because I think she has fulfilled her role in this programme. She has her audience and you can’t say that to regret anything. Dagmara is a person who knows how to get the company going. Of course, I don’t want to judge the past. You could say this: everyone knew who Dagmara was. We agreed and Dagmara performed in the programme. She may not have danced the best, but she had other qualities. And that is very important,” emphasised the director.
