In an interview with Elle magazine. Vanessa Aleksander opened up about her journey to self-acceptance. She emphasised that as she gets older, she appreciates her appearance more and feels comfortable talking about her attractiveness. She also pointed out that taking care of her health has helped boost her self-confidence.

I’m at a point in my life where I’m liking the way I look more and more. I’ve started to take care of my health and I feel comfortable talking about it. For a long time I was uncomfortable describing myself as an attractive person. Or saying that a part of my body is pretty, that I like my lips though. The older I get and the more I take care of my health, the more I appreciate myself and the discomfort goes away  – she said in an interview with Elle.
