Virtually unemployed Kevin Federline has been accused by a British journalist of living at Britney Spears' expense. The star is handing over more than $40,000 a month to the father of his children....

Even though Britney Spears broke free from her father’s guardianship over a year ago, the media continues to report disturbing events in her life. Recently, Daily Mail journalist Daphne Barak, who had the opportunity to speak to those close to the star, revealed shocking information. Spears’ ex-husband confessed to her that he feared the artist was struggling with a drug problem and was using methamphetamine. According to Barak, 17-year-old Preston and 16-year-old Jayden, the star’s sons, claim to have seen a close friend of Britney’s supply her with “something that looked like drugs”. Kevin Federline is allegedly “horrified” by Spears’ condition, while her father Jamie fears she could share Amy Winehouse’s fate. Britney Spears responded to the loved ones’ accusations in a post on Instagram. The artist denied rumours of addiction and accused her teenage sons of “stabbing her in the back”. She also accused newspapers of lying.<div class=”group w-full text-gray-800 dark:text-gray-100 border-b border-black/10 dark:border-gray-900/50 bg-gray-50 dark:bg-[#444654]>”.

Should Britney Spears break contact with Kevin Federline? Journalist gives her opinion

Journalist Jane Moore has decided to take a look at the sensational reports about Britney Spears. In her column published on the tabloid’s website, she analyses the facts revealed by Daphne Barak and comes to a rather sad conclusion. In particular, she focuses on Kevin Federline, suggesting that supporters of the `FreeBritney’ movement should focus on freeing Spears from her ex-husband.

Let’s free Britney again. This time from her ex, freeloader Kevin Federline,” the Sun journalist titled her article.

Moore clearly sympathises with Britney. She believes the star realises that she has been “manipulated and abused” by those closest to her, who should be protecting her. According to the journalist, despite being freed from her father’s guardianship, Spears may still not feel full freedom. After all, she still has to pay her ex-husband £32,000 a month (about $40,000), which translates to more than £166,000. The Sun journalist points out that Spears’ money covers her teenage sons’ schooling and living expenses, including the rent for her house in Calabasas. She points out, however, that “virtually unemployed” Kevin Federline and his partner also enjoy the benefits of property ownership. Daphne Barak, who spent some time with Spears’ ex-husband and her sons for her article, describes what their daily life is like.

Neither Kevin nor his wife Victoria have decent jobs, but like all loving parents they drive their children to school and to various activities, Barak reported.

Journalist on Britney Spears’ former partner: `It’s time for him to stop living at her expense’.

In her column for The Sun Jane Moore reminds us that Britney believes her ex-husband is a cannabis enthusiast and his current wife is an avid online gambler. She also points out that Federline is planning to move to Hawaii, where child support can be paid up to the age of 23, while Britney’s sons are now 17 and 16.<div class=”group w-full text-gray-800 dark:text-gray-100 border-b border-black/10 dark:border-gray-900/50 bg-gray-50 dark:bg-[#444654]}”>.

Moore admits that both Britney’s activity on Instagram and rumours about her are a cause for concern. She also claims that Federline’s concern about her condition may be genuine. According to the journalist, both the lack of contact with her sons and having to financially support her ex-husband are certainly not helping Britney.

So maybe it’s time for Kevin to stop living at Britney’s expense and find a paying job. That would certainly give his concern a lot more legitimacy,” she said.
