The young actress is proud of her heritage, but stresses that she prefers to be judged by her own work. – I am proud to be the granddaughter of Grazyna Szapolowska because she is a great grandmother. Professionally, I don’t like comparisons. I prefer to be judged through the prism of my work and not the well-known names in my family,” Karolina pointed out. What’s more, Grażyna Szapołowska doesn’t give her feedback on her acting, which allows Karolina to develop her talent freely.

Support from experienced actors

On the set of the TV series Zdrada, Karolina Matej could count on the support of experienced actors. Marieta Żukowska, who plays the role of her serial mother, and Paweł Małaszyński, who plays her serial father, were very supportive. – I am delighted that I was able to play Gosia. I have wonderful memories of shooting with Marieta Żukowska, who was very warm to me. Sometimes she gave me valuable tips,” says the young actress.
