Legendary journalist and TV presenter Katarzyna Dowbor has become the target of a violent attack by activist Jan Spiewak. The action was aimed at Katarzyna's son, Maciej Dowbor, and his wife Joanna Koroniewska. However, the attack spread to the entire family, drawing out the dirt from the past, including the emotional life and problems hanging over the Dowbor family.

Katarzyna Dowbor, a legend of Polish television, was brutally attacked by activist Jan Śpiewak. The attack was aimed, as it were, at “punishing” the journalist’s son, Maciej Dowbor, and his wife, Joanna Koroniewska, for their involvement in a promotional campaign for the Tyskie beer brand and the Federation of Polish Food Banks. Jan Śpiewak did not mince words and drew out extremely sad facts about Katarzyna Dowbor’s emotional relationships. The journalist has married and divorced three times, and her second marriage to Janusz Atlas was fraught with alcoholism problems. The activist harshly criticised the Dowbor-Koroniewski family’s decision to participate in a beer-related advertising campaign, seeing it as irresponsible celebrity. Katarzyna Dowbor was implicated in the attack, despite the fact that her second husband, Janusz Atlas, died in 2010. Accusations of “morally bankrupt celebrities” and criticism of the advertising campaign caused violent reactions on social media.

I completely agree with Jan Śpiewak’s post. It’s irresponsible for celebrities to promote alcohol consumption, especially when there are children in need.
