Polish Eurovision fans are rubbing their hands at the thought of representing the country at this year’s contest. Among the potential candidates for this role is Justyna Steczkowska, who is competing against, among others, Luna and Izabela Zabielska. A video appeared on Justyna Steczkowska’s profile in which the young TikToker, using a clown filter, criticised the potential selection of the artist’s song for Eurovision. This caused quite a controversy, especially as it was suggested that another artist’s proposal would have been a better choice than Steczkowska’s. We could have read:

it will be our look if Poland puts up a random note tiktoker at Eurovision instead of the Slavic possessions of Steczkowska, who is so talented musically and in performance.

The recording was quickly removed and Justyna Steczkowska made a public apology for the situation. In explaining the unfortunate incident, she mentioned an `assistant error’ and admitted that she doesn’t always orient herself with online trends or profiles. The mishap caused a lot of speculation and comments online, but Steczkowska is now trying to focus on her future endeavours and her fight for the chance to represent Poland at Eurovision.
